NDA government increased medical seats by 30 percent says PM Modi


NEW DELHI: While laying the root stone of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Madurai on Sunday, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that in the last 4 and a half years, the NDA executive has larger its seats through round 30%. “The numbers of undergraduate medical seats were larger through virtually 30% in last four-and-half yr. The 1.5 lakh health and wellness facilities are being established to offer comprehensive primary care and preventive health services,” stated Modi.


Talking about Ayushman Bharat, the high minister asserted that his executive is giving priority to the healthcare sector. “It is a sparsely thought out manner to ensure the achievement of common health protection for our country. Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan are making secure pregnancy a mass movement.”


Modi further discussed that his executive is committed to TB removal through 2025. “I am glad to be told that the state is scaling up the TB Free Chennai initiative and seeking to eliminate TB in the state through 2023 itself,” the PM stated.
