Metro Rail free med camps end on healthy note

CHENNAI: Nearly 2,000 people attended loose clinical camps organised at 11 metro stations here from January three to 31.

A unlock from Chennai Metro Rail Limited said greater than 115 people attended on the closing day of the camp on Thursday at Vadapalani metro station.

At the loose camp, people could get their blood pressure, random blood sugar, SPO2 (to measure oxygen level in blood) and middle rate amongst others checked. “More than 1,960 people attended and got benefited from the camps,” the discharge said.

The camp was once organised via CMRL, in association with MGM Health Care, at Nehru Park, Kilpauk, Central, Shenoy Nagar, Anna Nagar East, Anna Nagar Tower, Thirumangalam, Koyambedu, CMBT, Arumbakkam and Vadapalani stations from 8am to 11am.

CMRL has been taking several initiatives like loose clinical camps and loose per 30 days trips for school students to create awareness on the more than a few facilities available for a at ease and safe shuttle and to encourage people to use its provider.
