Man who stole diamonds lived as ‘sadhu’ at Kumbh


MUMBAI: More than a month and part after a diamond dealer vamoosed after dishonest 25 diamond traders of treasured stones value Rs 27 crore, he was once nabbed from Kalyan on Tuesday. As I know Fichadia and his uncle, I depended on him with the diamonds.”


Based on the grievance, additional commissioner of police Manoj Sharma together with a crew of deputy commissioner Anil Kumbhare, senior inspector Kalpana Gadekar, inspector Pradip Khanvilkar, assistant inspector Satish Borate, sub-inspector Ganesh Thodkar arrested Fichadia, the mastermind of the theft plan.
