Jailed for killing spouse, Kalyan woman kills self

KALYAN: Sakshi Nimse, 35, who closing 12 months allegedly plotted the killing of her husband, Shiv Sena leader Shailesh Nimse, with lend a hand of 2 of her family members, committed suicide on Sunday afternoon inside of Adharwadi jail in Kalyan.

She used to be found hanging inside the jail bathroom. Her body has been despatched to the state-run Central Hospital at Ulhasnagar for autopsy.

Khadakpada police stated jail inmates have told them Sakshi used to be feeling responsible about her husband’s homicide and, hence, ended her life.

On April 20 closing 12 months, the half-burnt body of Nimse, who used to be Shiv Sena’s deputy leader in Shahapur taluka, used to be found from a village in Ganeshpuri. Police cracked the case by way of arresting his wife and two ‘contract killers’.

Sakshi is alleged to have plotted the homicide as her husband used to be in an illicit dating. She feared he would barren region her and deprive her of belongings rights. Jail resources told TOI, “On Sunday afternoon, when Sakshi didn't come out of the toilet for some hours, different women prisoners informed jail body of workers, who broke open the door and found her hanging.”
