Gurugram: Army jawan on holiday, friend killed in accident


GURUGRAM: An Army jawan and his buddy died and a third buddy was once seriously injured in an accident on the IFFCO Chowk flyover on Saturday. Their automobile rammed into a bus of NSG commandos that had damaged down on the flyover. The accident came about because of low visibility, according to Sector 18 police.
Army jawan Mohit (23), a resident of Bhoorka village near Bilaspur, died on the spot and his buddy Rahul (25), a resident of Birdhana village in Jhajjar, later succumbed to his accidents in the hospital. Their buddy Karan (24), a resident of Delhi Gate in Jhajjar, is in the ICU.


The 3 buddies got in combination after Mohit, who was once deployed in Jammu and Kashmir, returned to his native position for a holiday. Karan is a cab driver and lives on rent in Sector 48.


On Friday, the buddies met at Karan’s position and made up our minds to move for a birthday celebration at the house of some other buddy in Basai. Karan got hold of a friend’s cab, a Maruti Ritz, in order that the three could force there. After partying at evening, they headed against Shankar Chowk on Saturday morning. According to police, Mohit was once intended to get off the auto at Shankar Chowk while Rahul and Karan have been planning to visit the latter’s house.

The accident was once so severe that the auto was once utterly damaged and the three have been badly injured, stated police. The NSG commandos informed police and a workforce reached the web site. The 3 buddies have been taken out of the auto however Mohit died. Rahul and Karan have been rushed to a hospital but the former also died there.
