Donald Trump OK with second shutdown over border spat: White House

WASHINGTON: Acting White House chief of body of workers Mick Mulvaney says President Donald Trump is prepared for another government shutdown if Congress would possibly not paintings with him to safe the US-Mexico border.

Mulvaney says Trump does not wish to see federal businesses closed again and does not wish to declare a countrywide emergency both. But he says Trump is prepared to do both.

He says Trump agreed to reopen the government for three weeks to offer Democrats a chance to barter. Mulvaney says some Democrats accept as true with Trump's plan to better safe the border, however stated they could not paintings with the White House as long as there was a partial government shutdown.

Mulvaney spoke Sunday on CBS' "Face the Nation" and "Fox News Sunday."
