CBSE to provide counselling to students from Feb 1 to cope with exam stress

NEW DELHI: The Central Board Of Secondary Education (CBSE) will provide psychological counselling to students and parents from Friday to overcome exam-related stress, the board said on Thursday.

The 22nd version of the psychological counselling provider, focusing on resolving issues related to exam stress, will finish on April four and might be to be had between eight am to 10 pm on all days, they added.

From this year, the CBSE has presented the power of Interactive Voice Response System on a toll-free quantity from the place the students/folks/stakeholders can obtain a pre-recorded helpful data on tackling board exams which includes tips for higher preparation, time and stress management, FAQs in conjunction with are living telecounselling services.

The CBSE telecounselling is obtainable via faculty principals and skilled counsellors from throughout the CBSE affiliated faculties located in and outdoor India, the board said, including that this is a voluntary, free of value provider equipped via the members.

The board has roped in a total of 87 counsellors comprising 65 from India, two special educators and 22 from foreign faculties.

For the primary time, a comprehensive audio-visual presentation titled 'Knowing Children Better' has been prepared and uploaded on CBSE website, the board said.

"The various topics deal with real time experiences and problems of adolescents with suggestive measures as coping strategies. The viewers can access the tab 'Counselling' at," the board added.
