ABAP not to attend VHP Dharma Sansad to discuss Ram temple issue in Kumbh

Allahabad: Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad (ABAP), the apex governing body of all the 13 Hindu ‘akharas’ (monastic orders), would now not attend the ‘Dharma Sansad’ (religious Parliament) summoned through the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) in Kumbh Mela house to talk about Ram temple and Sabarimala issues, claiming that Ram temple could be built through saints and VHP has nothing to do with it. The two-day meet would start on Thursday and is expected to pass resolutions on Ram temple and Sabarimala.
The transfer got here after a meeting of the chief and representatives of all the akharas underneath the chairmanship of ABAP president Narendra Giri in Sewadas camp of Kumbh Mela.

Giri stated, “The Ram temple factor used to be first raised through saints and they had been pressuring the government to build the temple. VHP joined the motion later and now claims to start out working at the temple which is not acceptable.”

He added akharas have separate identity and won't attend the VHP event.

“Akharas can be part of the Dharm Sansad handiest whether it is used to serve the passion of saints and religious problems being faced through the average man,” he stated including, “ABAP is not going to tolerate any longer extend in building Ram temple at Ayodhya.”

“The Central government’s initiative of transferring application for obtaining undisputed land is a welcome step but it'll now not serve any objective,” he added.
