4 who robbed commuters at gunpoint on expressway held


GURUGRAM: An freeway robbers’ gang was busted on Tuesday after the crime unit of Bilaspur arrested four males who allegedly robbed commuters at gunpoint after providing them a boost. Two country-made pistols, cartridges and a WagonR was recovered from their ownership.

According to the police, the Bilaspur crime unit received a tip-off in regards to the accused, following which two groups were shaped and four males were arrested on Tuesday evening from different spaces. “Deepak, Rahul, Rohit and Bhanu Pratap had been taken on police remand and throughout interrogation confessed to have committed three robberies prior to now few months,” a police officer mentioned.


Two FIRs below related sections of the Arms Act had been registered against the four at Kherki Daula police station.
