PATNA: Former road construction minister and RJD MLA Mohammad Iliyas Hussain will be the first person to lose Bihar assembly membership for his conviction in a criminal case for two or more years. A CBI court at Ranchi on Thursday sentenced Hussain to four years rigorous imprisonment in a bitumen scam case. With imminent disqualification of Hussain, the number of RJD MLAs in the 243-member Bihar assembly will be reduced to 80.
